Exciting new collaboration with Guild Care:
Caer Gwent Visit Following the successful Magic Minder visits to Guild Care's Haviland House, which have proved very popular with residents, we have been invited to also visit Caer Gwent. These have been well received and Magic Minders were delighted to receive this glowing review from them, following their most recent visit... ''We had a spooktacular time at Caer Gwent as Halloween took over! Our residents enjoyed a range of activities, including a Halloween Raffle, Halloween Themed Bingo, and of course, loads of delicious treats with no tricks involved. But the highlight of the day was a heart-warming visit from our friends Tracey, Sarah, Gem, and the children. Residents cherished every moment with the little ones, filled with singing, dancing, and enchanting story time.'' Read more on their Facebook page |

New drop-in venue needed
Magic Minders is on the hunt for a new venue to run our childminder drop-in from.
The ideal venue would have a large hall/room, car parking, kitchen facilities, and a place to store toys/resources.
Until recently the drop-in has been run from the Ashdown Centre and Magic Minders is grateful to Guild Care for letting them use the centre, which has helped get things running again post-Covid. This has been very successful but this also means we have now outgrown the space and need somewhere bigger.
Previously the group ran from a West Sussex Children & Family Centre, which was provided to MM free of charge. This enabled the group to keep the cost of attending to a minimum, something Magic Minders is keen to continue. This means Magic Minders is looking for a venue that fits all the above criteria but at minimal cost...
This is a big ask, but if anyone can help, please contact the Secretary at magicminders@gmail.com
Autumn meet ups
Whilst we look for a new venue we have arranged some open-air meet ups and hope you can join us
26th September - Pond Lane park (near Birkdale Road, Worthing)
10th October - Arundel Park
31 October - Beach Green Park (Halloween theme)
Please join us if you can for bubbles (unfortunately not the drinking kind ha ha !) and biscuits.

A huge thank you to all those who helped to organise our fabulous Coronation Party celebration and to everyone who attended. The children had a wonderful time decorating and making crowns, playing in the soft play and on the bouncy castle, and eating their Coronation picnics.
Every child attending was presented with a souvenir medal to commemorate the occasion. Congratulations to our raffle prize winners: Magic Minders hope you enjoy spending your Independent Worthing vouchers, your day at David Lloyd and your cream tea. Details of winners are available on request by contacting the secretary) |
